NFL Week 11 Action, College Football This Weekend At WV Sportsbooks

Posted on November 20, 2020

It is another busy weekend ahead at West Virginia sportsbooks. Although the WVU Mountaineers are off with a bye, there is still plenty of great action to wager on.

Of course, both the NFL and college football betting highlight the best markets available.

In the Big Ten Conference, No. 3 Ohio State hosts No. 9 Indiana in what will probably determine the East division. Both teams are undefeated and have hopes of making this year’s College Football Playoff.

The Big Ten includes another impactful game in its West division, too.

The 10th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers travel to No. 19 Northwestern in a very interesting matchup.

While bettors can’t take the Mountaineers this week, there is a quality Big 12 contest in prime time. The battle for Oklahoma takes place as the Sooners and Cowboys each look to improve on their solid records.

WVU is back on the field on Saturday, Nov. 28, against OU.

On Sunday, the NFL delivers again with an exciting slate of games in Week 11.

The Baltimore Ravens are looking to bounce back after losing two of their last three. They battle the Tennessee Titans at home this week; both teams have records of 6-3.

Then in the Sunday night game, Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champs head to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders. The two sides are competing for the AFC West crown, with the Raiders only two games back of the Chiefs.

There are plenty of other betting options available this weekend, as well. The Mountain State’s online sportsbooks feature lots of European soccer and updated futures odds for the NBA following its draft this week.

Let’s take a deeper look at this upcoming sports weekend and break down the current odds available at WV sportsbooks.

College football betting

Despite the Mountaineers being off this weekend, there is more than enough college football to keep you occupied.

The matchup between top-10 teams with Indiana and Ohio State could be the game of the day in the noon slot. It will kick off from Ohio Stadium in Columbus and is nationally televised on Fox.

Even though the Hoosiers are a perfect 4-0 and have been impressive thus far, they are sizable underdogs at sportsbooks this weekend.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Ohio State is laying -20.5 points in the spread. The Buckeyes have incredible odds of -1115 to win the game.

On the other side, Indiana is receiving the near three-touchdown spread, while its moneyline is at +650.

The online sportsbook sees this game being a high-scoring affair. It lists the game’s total at 66 points right now.

With such a big discrepancy in the point spread, DraftKings has a massive difference between the two teams’ individual totals. You can wager on Ohio State’s total points of 43.5, while Indiana’s total is posted at just 22.5.

The other Big Ten game should be much closer, according to sportsbooks.

At the moment, DraftKings lists Wisconsin as the road favorite, giving -7 in the point spread. You can take the Badgers to just win this matchup at -315, whereas Northwestern’s moneyline odds are +245.

There should be a lot more defense in this tilt. The online sports betting app shows the game’s total at just 44 points.

WVU fans will be sure to have their attention on the Bedlam series between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

While the Sooners have run into a few issues this year, they are still the favorite to win the conference. DraftKings also gives them the advantage this week against their rivals.

The sportsbook has OU giving -7, with a moneyline of -265. Bettors can take the Cowboys getting the +7, or their moneyline at +195.

This game should prove to be more of a shootout, with its total currently set at 59.5 points.

Betting on the NFL in Week 11

After a Saturday full of collegiate football, you can turn your attention to the NFL’s Week 11.

The season is about to enter the stretch run, where playoff teams separate themselves from the pretenders. With an extra postseason spot available in each conference this year, more teams feel they have a chance to qualify.

The most enticing game of the afternoon may be between Baltimore and Tennessee. The Titans eliminated the top-seeded Ravens in the playoffs last year with ease.

Both teams are looking good again this season, and this week should tell us plenty about each.

FanDuel Sportsbook has Baltimore laying -5 at home. Its moneyline is -245, while the Titans are getting the points and have moneyline odds of +200.

The online sportsbook provides many game, team and player props for every matchup. It gives odds for what the result will be from the first drive of the game.

FanDuel lists the following odds for how the opening possession will end in the Ravens vs. Titans matchup:

  • Punt -115
  • Offensive TD +290
  • Field goal attempt +410
  • Any other +650

Another game that shouldn’t disappoint is the night cap between Kansas City and Las Vegas.

The Chiefs are 8-1 and looking to cruise to another division title. The only team standing in their way is the 6-3 Raiders, which defeated Kansas City already about a month ago.

In spite of how that first game went, FanDuel shows the Chiefs as eight-point favorites on Sunday. Their moneyline is listed at -370, while the Raiders have odds of +295 to win outright.

Neutral fans should certainly tune into this one. With two of the better offenses in the NFL, the online sportsbook has this game’s total at 56.5 points, tied for the highest of the week.

Additional NFL odds

Washington Football Team -1.5 (Moneyline: -120) vs. Cincinnati Bengals +1.5 (Moneyline: +102)

Cleveland Browns -3 (Moneyline: -174) vs. Philadelphia Eagles +3 (Moneyline: +146)

Pittsburgh Steelers -10.5 (Moneyline: -500) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars +10.5 (Moneyline: +385)

NBA futures at WV Sportsbooks

Although there aren’t as many alternate options outside of football as a few months ago, sportsbooks still have a couple of additional markets.

Online betting apps include odds for Europe’s top soccer leagues, like the Premier League and La Liga.

Now that the Mountain State has a total of five online platforms, betting from home is even more convenient. Beyond DraftKings and FanDuel, residents can wager with the following apps:

As far as other American sports, books have updated their futures odds for the new NBA season that starts in mid-December.

Following the NBA draft, which took place on Wednesday night, BetMGM now shows the following odds for which team will be champion next year:

  • Los Angeles Lakers +325
  • Brooklyn Nets +500
  • Los Angeles Clippers +550
  • Milwaukee Bucks +550
  • Golden State Warriors +1000
  • Boston Celtics +1400
  • Miami Heat +1600
  • Denver Nuggets +1800
  • Toronto Raptors +1800
  • Dallas Mavericks +2500
  • Philadelphia 76ers +2500
  • Houston Rockets +3500
